Volunteer & Community Ecology Officer

We’re searching for an organised, conscientious, and pleasant particular person to guide on the supply of the Mid-Cornwall Moors restoration venture’s group and volunteer engagement actions.

It is a cross-organisation nature restoration venture which is able to create, restore, and join
Mid-Cornwall Moor habitats (together with connecting farmland), growing species abundance and
working with faculties and communities within the space to get extra folks related with and taking
motion for nature.

This position will work collaboratively with native teams and organisations within the venture space
to:

• Interact native youngsters and younger folks with their pure surroundings to extend their
  reference to and construct their understanding of native nature and wildlife. 
• Recruit, practice and handle venture volunteers to work on habitat intervention and / or
  species and habitat surveying. 
• Coordinate the structured monitoring programme throughout the venture utilizing skilled volunteers,
  establishing a structured framework that may proceed past the venture. 

This position is mounted time period, working 37.5 hours per week.
