We are looking for a Monopile Design Specialists to support our UK offshore wind team in both floating and bottom fixed structures. You’ll join a dynamic team of specialists and project managers working across the renewable value chain, including market advisory and feasibility, design, and construction advisory. With a focus on innovation, we have a track record for delivering solutions even under the most demanding conditions – deep waters, on challenging soil, and in regions with high seismic activity.
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be responsible for:
- Acting as monopile structural discipline lead on or projects, including feasibility and concept designs as well as FEED and detailed design.
- Supporting the wider team members in the design of primary structures for offshore wind foundations.
- Developing design methodologies and contributing to knowledge sharing across our international teams.
- Performing high-quality calculations, producing technical reports and approval of drawings.
- Attending client meetings and building relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

Furthermore, you’ll:
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree or PhD in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Have significant experience with structural design for monopile foundations for wind turbine generators
- Experience with structural dynamics, numerical analysis, and load assessments
- Knowledge of fabrication and the installation of monopile foundations is desirable
- An understanding of coding to automate the design process
- Have previous experience of delivering projects to time, cost quality standards across all stages of project lifecycle
- Have good communication skills in English (oral and written)
