Supplier Security and Privacy Assurance (SSPA) is a risk management control for Microsoft that sets privacy, security and Responsible AI requirements for our global suppliers and drives compliance to these standards. We are looking to hire a Compliance Manager to join our team. This is an opportunity to become a key member of the SSPA team able to bring your thought leadership to interactions with suppliers, recognize risk in the eco-system and help ensure compliant buying for the lifecycle engagement with the supplier.

Responsibilities

  • Embrace the accountability to solve escalations and negotiate the best compliance outcomes for Microsoft working with Procurement colleagues, suppliers and business owners.

  • Uphold program integrity and standards as a compliance manager, apply privacy and security principles to a multitude of scenarios within established guardrails, displaying sound judgement.

  • Provide great customer service to Microsoft business owners, risk communities and Procurement.

  • Apply learnings from these interactions to help refine processes that optimize new technologies to realize efficiencies and drive customer satisfaction.

  • Drive operational effectiveness through program hygiene initiatives and solutions that removes manual operational effort.

  • Participate in Procurement efforts to optimize Co-pilots and Tier 1 self-help automations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business, legal/regulatory, compliance, audit/consulting firm

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification

Compliance IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 – $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 – $195,000 per year.
