Job description:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for the design, creation and production of materials used for advocacy, communications, marketing and events. The position requires a motivated individual who can demonstrate creativity, technical expertise, an eye for design and detail as well as the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. She/he will report directly to the Director of Public Affairs and work cross-functionally on different projects.
Main tasks:
- Design and produce print and digital tools, such as publications, reports, visuals for online use, infographics, presentations, branding materials for events;
- Create visual concepts for a wide range of purposes (campaigns, events, business development, etc.);
- Manage creative projects from the briefing phase to production;
- Oversee and drive the branding strategy;
- Liaise with external providers (eg, printers);
- Produce and edit video content.
Qualifications required:
- Proven design and production experience working with Adobe Creative Suite software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office;
- Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail and adherence to deadlines;
- Project management skills essential;
- Team player able to work both independently and collaborate well with colleagues;
- Flexibility and initiative to respond to changing projects and priorities.
Languages: Fluent English preferred.
Contract and timing: Part-time (three days a week) fixed term contract from late August to mid-January. Availability for a few days of handover in June. Freelancers are welcome to apply.
