This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly-respected political intelligence team, providing market-leading intelligence services to ensure our clients stay ahead of political developments. We provide fast, focused, and comprehensive information and insight on the activities of the EU institutions, the EU member states and a variety of stakeholders to clients across a wide range of sectors.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for EU affairs and may have acquired relevant experience in the environmental and sustainability sector. This is particularly beneficial as the portfolio encompasses a range of significant topics, including biodiversity, circular economy, waste management, and chemicals policies.

You’ll be part of a team of consultants, each of whom are experts in their respective policy areas and will be providing finger-on-the-pulse analysis to your clients within your sector on a daily basis.

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • An in-depth knowledge of the European policy making process and previous experience of working in the European Institutions;
  • Strong organisation skills;
  • Ability to switch continuously between subjects;
  • A desire to help others;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
  • Flexible, quick thinker, highly organised and can deal with tight deadlines and a demanding environment;
  • Confident and proactive, prepared to take a hands-on approach;
  • Interest in European affairs/politics;
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills;
  • An open-minded consultative approach;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Masters level of education in European or political studies;
  • Fluent English;
  • Knowledge of another European language.

Key responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide a first-rate political intelligence service to a well-established of clients. You will be responsible for the delivery of the monitoring service in your portfolio and managing the content related aspect of client management.

You will work to ensure the day-to-day delivery of the service and contribute to common tasks. Where required, you will work with other teams in the company on joint monitoring projects.

This includes:

  • Relevant client-facing experience maintaining an excellent service to clients;
  • Provision of timely and high-quality political insight and research;
  • Contribute to the development of our business through the delivery of successful trial periods with prospective clients in coordination with colleagues;
  • Contribute to common tasks to ensure the complete delivery of the monitoring service.
