What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with teachers to assist groups of students.
  • Provide regular feedback on student progress to teachers and maintain records.
  • Attend to students’ personal needs, including minor first aid, and offer guidance on pastoral, social, health, physical hygiene, and welfare matters.
  • Communicate with teachers, caregivers, and parents to monitor students’ development.
  • Work with students individually or in small groups to support their learning.
  • Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience working with children.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • An enhanced child DBS (assistance provided if needed).
  • Skills in behavior and classroom management.
  • Patience to help students understand lessons and engage in planned activities.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
