Role OverviewThe Assembler I (CVM) position is responsible for assembling sensors and associated equipment at a low to moderate degree of difficulty and subsequent testing of products at a low level of difficulty.What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assembles CVM products from written procedures
  • Tests product and troubleshoots as required
  • Performs soldering to established quality standards and as trained
  • Carries out general maintenance on equipment as required
  • Performs all duties per applicable quality program procedures
  • Completes all other duties as assigned, including supporting other Production departments via transfer when required

What Will Help You Succeed

  • No education or experience required; training is provided in-house.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination is an asset.
  • Experience working with repetitious assembly of small electronic or other products is an asset.
  • General experience with computers is an asset.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time.
  • A strong work ethic with a positive approach to working with others.
  • Ability to successfully pass the security assessment of employees who need to examine, possess, or transfer controlled goods or technology is required
