Research in the School is currently supported by a wide range of funders including UK Research and Innovation, National Institute for Health and Care Research, Health and Care Research Wales, and Wellcome. We work closely with health and social care organisations, policy makers, charities and the public across Wales to ensure that our research is relevant and impactful.You will also undertake postgraduate research supervision including MSc level research while also attracting and supporting research PhD students in your field. In addition, there will be opportunity to contribute to the teaching and support of other health and social care students on professional programmes across the Faculty.We would welcome applications from those who can contribute across our portfolio of programmes and complement our diverse and experienced research, teaching and professional staff in the School of Health and Social Care with a particular emphasis on Social Work, preferably with applicability and benefit to the Welsh context of policy, practice and people who use services and their carers.Academic Career PathwayThe pathway for this post is Research.
