Account Manager – CalgaryWe are currently partnered with a research consultancy, providing market intel on the commodities markets to leading financial institutions looking to bring on an Account Manager in their Calgary office. This is a great opportunity to get in with a rapidly growing firm within a hot space.The Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Growing the existing book of business through renewals, upselling and cross-selling
  • Identifying leads and developing business
  • Building strong client relationships and ensuring client retention
  • Driving strategies focusing on renewals, retention and revenue growth
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline and sales information in CRM system
  • Consult with potential new prospects and collaborate within the business

The Account Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of account management experience within financial services or commodities space
  • Experience working in a b2b sales environment, with a subscription based product
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate with clients as well as internal stakeholders

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in the commodities / energy space
  • Understanding of front, middle and back office operations
  • Has sold subscription based research

Expected salary

$100000 – 100001 per year
