Join IFS.Job DescriptionProject Manager, Global Customer Services, Aerospace & DefenseWe are looking for a Project Manager to work in our North America consulting organization who is passionate about creating the best client experience while delivering services, on time, on budget with quality. You will be joining our Global Customer Services team to work on projects primarily in Canada and the USA for medium and large Aerospace & Defense customers. Our team of 4,000 employees every day live our values of agility, trustworthiness and collaboration in how we support our 10,000+ customers.ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Manager, you will assume responsibility for the delivery of projects to our A&D customers. You will become a trusted advisor to your clients, guiding them in best practices and methodology for IFS implementations. You will assist your clients to plan, execute, control and govern their implementations.Overseeing complex projects, or as part of a larger program management team, you will lead a team of experienced IFS business and technical consultants working closely with a diverse client team that includes business leaders, technical specialists and data specialists. You will plan, schedule, assign and coordinate project activities. You will track and report progress, manage risks and support the escalation and resolution of issues.You will assume responsibility for project administration and finances, managing to project budgets, controlling resource plans, and setting cost and revenue forecasts. Your projects will contribute to a long-term value plan for the customer and will roll up to regional and industry consulting portfolios.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science (or equivalent) and a solid foundation in project management best practices (PMP or Prince 2 certification desired).5 or more years of experience leading projects for the implementation of enterprise software.Very strong communication and leadership skills, can motivate project teams and can gain the trust of executive sponsors.Experience in enterprise solutions for ERP or asset management, such as engineering, project management, manufacturing, aviation maintenance, MRO or supply chain management.Experience and a continued interest in working with aviation, aerospace and defense customers.Willing to work remotely or to travel within Canada and the USA as needed.Eligible to obtain a Secret or NATO Secret security clearance in Canada or the USA.Additional InformationWhat makes us great:
