The individual contractor will ensure a high level of accuracy and clarity in populating/organizing and validating data and materials relevant to monitoring and evaluation to meet the data quality requirements for the implementation of their migration in the KMS. The individual contract will also review and organize the evaluation related information and prepares it for its full migration to the KMS, including the comprehensive revision and tagging of evaluation products for the website.

Duties and Responsibilities
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment. The Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol (MLF) supports projects to reverse the deterioration of the Earth’s stratospheric ozone layer and reducing consumption of high global warming hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). It was established in 1991 as the financial mechanism of the Montreal Protocol to assist developing countries (Article 5 countries in the language of the Protocol) in complying with their obligations under the Montreal Protocol. The Multilateral Fund is managed by an Executive Committee with an equal representation of seven industrialized and seven Article 5 countries that are elected annually by the Meeting of the Parties. The Committee reports every year to the Meeting of the Parties on its operations, and it is assisted by the Fund Secretariat, located in Montreal, Canada and administered by UNEP (www.multilateralfund.org). Under the supervision of the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer the individual contractor will perform the following duties: • Support the evaluation team in extracting relevant data and materials (hard and soft copies) from existing databases and SharePoint folders relevant to monitoring and evaluation (e.g Project Completion Report-PCRs), cleaning, organizing and validating the data, converting the files to the relevant support formats to meet the data requirements for the developers, and prepare an exhaustive inventory list of the documents to facilitate the evaluation-related data migration to the Knowledge Management System (KMS). • Support the evaluation team and the relevant staff members in supporting the development and implementation of the modules related to the Project Completion Reports in the KMS; • Support the migration of the evaluation databases into the KMS taking into account the PCR submission process workflow; Support the quality assurance processes related to the evaluation-related information in the new website; • Review the historical evaluation related information and ensures its preservation and migration in the new KMS, tagging its appropriately inline with the codes defined within the MFS; • Develop an analytical template to support the preparation of consolidated lessons learned to be extracted and processed from the PCRs; • Assist in consultation with relevant staff members with the identification and analysis of patterns in data using standard techniques; • Assist with any other tasks, as required.
Qualifications/special skills
Education: A first level university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in information management system, data science, information studies is required. Experience: . A minimum of five years of professional experience in data management and analysis (including archiving historical records, classification of data, validation, etc.) is required. . Capacity to work under tight deadlines and to deliver output on time is required. . Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Visio is desirable.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this contract, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another UN language is desirable.
