Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team. The role is based in Anaheim, California, and is crucial to the financial operations of our organization. The Accounting Manager will work closely with various departments, including plant operations and the sales team, to ensure the financial well-being of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely month-end close

• Oversee local financial teams to ensure accuracy and efficacy in their transactional duties, including billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, and inventory accounting

• Foster relationships with plant operations to align financial and operational goals

• Provide proactive consultation, interpretation, and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders to drive business decisions

• Direct responsibility for the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts

• Perform variance analysis to track financial performance against standards

• Champion integration and process control among various sites, promoting standardized practices and streamlined operations

• Utilize accounting software systems, ERP solutions, and other relevant tools effectively

• Oversee billing functions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP

• Use analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle complex accounting issues. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP – Financial Services

• Familiarity with ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Ability to utilize Great Plains (GPAC)

• Expertise in various Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Experience in a Manufacturing environment

• Strong leadership skills to manage and supervise a team

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with various departments

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• Relevant certification such as CPA is preferred

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor.
