FEFAC the European Feed Industry Federation represents 29 national & European associations defining the interests of businesses active in animal nutrition at the European and International institutions level.

 Market and Trade Policy Officer

  • To manage  the FEFAC Industrial Compound Feed Production Committee, covering i.a. market analysis for feed materials and livestock (forecasting, market vulnerabilities, trade agreements, non-tariff trade barriers); 
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of FEFAC’s policy initiatives at the European and International levels, with a focus on regulatory and market projects/studies in the livestock and feed sector;
  • To oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of relevant statistical data to inform policy decisions and strategic initiatives; to utilize statistical insights to identify trends, assess market dynamics, and support evidence-based FEFAC advocacy efforts; to maintain publication of the FEFAC Feed and Food statistical yearbook;¨
  • To monitor regulatory developments impacting on trade policy, i.e. Common Agricultural Policy, biofuels/biomethane legislation, new plant breeding techniques, etc. and assess the impact on the feed sector;
  • Collaborate on sector projects such as the EU Feed Protein and Biomass Balance Sheets.

Profile & Skills

At least 2 years of professional experience, with knowledge of the functioning of the EU decision-making process, is highly suitable.
