***Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ academy.Requirements:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in a science related field.
- Passion for the education of KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Commitment to upholding safeguarding processes to protect the safety and security of young people.
- Comprehensive knowledge of scientific concepts.
- Clear, confident communication style.
- Drive to improve the progress levels of under-achieving GCSE students.
The Role
- Assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivery of GCSE science lessons.
- Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to students aged 11-16 to improve levels of progress and attainment.
- Supplying constructive and personalised feedback to students.
- Assessing classwork and monitoring progress to identify any additional learning needs.
- Participating in activities with the wider school community to build a positive, productive learning environment.
