When you work with OES, you’re empowered to impactThe Academic Administrator provides administrative support to the Academic Director and Academic Quality team. The role is broad in scope, and requires highly organised, proactive, and resourceful team members with a high degree of initiative and self-management skills to deal with a range of functions and planning, scheduling, and resource management tasks.RequirementsPlanning, Scheduling and Academic Support· Developing schedules and documentation for the Academic Director and Academic Team to fulfil University partner’s QA requirements.· Developing a range of meeting schedules.· Coordinating and minuting meetings between OES and partner university· Collating agendas, reports, data and schedules for meetings and reporting purposes.· Assisting Academic Director and Senior Programme Lead to document complex quality processes and support materials.· Providing support to the Academic Director and Senior Programme Lead across academic projects.· Developing process maps and guidelines for academic policies and procedures.Complaints and Student Feedback· Compiling and reporting of complaints and academic integrity issues.· Maintaining a register of complaints and academic integrity issues.· Coordinating survey documentation and communications across partner university.· Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support the student feedback processes.Online Tutors· Assisting with tutor recruitment process.· Developing and maintaining a database of tutor module allocations and associated tutor documentation.· Coordinating and setting up online tutor student allocations, ensuring consistency of data in Salesforce.· Coordinating tutor invoicing process.· Organising online tutor payroll and processing any ad-hoc payments.· Distributing tutor contracts and scope of service information.Assessment· Supporting student assessment processes.· Allocating moderators to modules.· Maintaining a record of module assessments and associated documentation.· Ensuring results are submitted on time and collated in an efficient and timely manner to enable release to students.· Supporting and facilitating Exam Boards.· Maintaining oversight of the results process, including collation and storage of result reports.Other Duties· Organising team travel and accommodation.· Ad hoc administration and expense reconciliation for the Academic Director.· Supporting the on-boarding of new staff.· General administration duties and support as required.Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications· Able to thrive in a high performing and values-based environment.· Demonstrated experience in an administrative role which required coordination of a range of functions.· Evidence of being a highly motivated, hands-on self-starter with a solution-focused attitude to problem solving.· Flexible attitude to work, including the ability to take up new tasks when required and without supervision.· High level IT and computer literacy and the capacity to learn new systems.· Excellent time management and organisational skills.· Data reporting skills and experience.· Excellent interpersonal communication skills.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail.· Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.· Tertiary qualification, or substantial progress towards the completion of a tertiary qualification is highly desired.Benefits

Expected salary

£27000 – 30000 per year
