This position drives results to our business commitments, continuous improvement, and adherence to all corporate programs. The supervisor is responsible for all employee management tasks, including training, supervising, managing schedules, assigning tasks and evaluating employees. The supervisor is responsible to drive continuous improvement initiatives, promote safe work practices and to actively promote an ethics-based business culture.What your day to day will look like?Drive an active-caring culture to improve the safety of the plant.Respond to EH&S issues, conduct investigations in a timely manner, and bring additional resources as necessary to ensure people are safe and we protect the environment.Adhere to all legal and corporate EH&S standards and policies.Oversee employee development and ensure workforce flexibility.Drive and nurture a quality culture. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to exceed customer expectations and meet company goals.Ensure staff understand daily expectations and work routines.Manage your presence on the shop floor.Resolve day-to-day questions and problems and support opportunities on the shop floor.Provide resources and mentor staff to meet daily commitments.Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve issues.Collaborate with all team members to ensure Plant 32 Roadmap objectives are achieved.Proven ability to positively influence and motivate others.Takes personal responsibility for their performance and meets all requirements of established goals and objectives.Embraces change, eagerly adapts, and achieves other success.Key Job CompetenciesAdaptability: Effectively change priorities based on current information.
