1532320Design Technology TeacherAcademic Appointments Ltd is currently working with Harrogate partner School to recruit a dedicated Design Technology Teacher. This is a Full time Design Technology placement and will be to start in September, until the end of the academic year in the first instance, with a potential to be extended into next year.The successful candidate will be teaching Design Technology up to KS4 and will have responsibility for their own exam classes.This is a school, based in Harrogate, where leaders help pupils to develop a clear sense of responsibility. Teachers create a supportive environment. Pupils are attentive to their teachers and to one another. They listen to different opinions and evaluate arguments. Pupils attend well and behave very well. Teachers build an atmosphere of courtesy and respect. Incidences
of suspension from school for poor behaviour are low.Requirements:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject (Design Technology)
• 2 x references from educational establishments
• Evidence of an exemplary track record
• A passion for success and quality teaching
• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service
