About the role:As Senior/Principal Reliability Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and durability of our GaN products by conducting testing, analysing failures, optimising designs and processes, and providing valuable insights to enhance the overall performance of our technology.This is your new job:Develop and manage the reliability test plan for E-mode GaN products and calculate extrapolated lifetime for a given mission profileMonitor the internal reliability test to fail tests in our labs (HVOS, TC, HTOL, etc) and manage reliability tests with external partnersAnalyse reliability test results data to extract acceleration parametersIdentify and address reliability gaps and drive reliability improvements activitiesCollaborate with the R&D team and laboratories to develop/improve tests and analysis methods of E-mode GaN productsMonitor failure analysis investigation to understand the main wear-out failure mechanismsThis is you:Minimum Master’s Degree or equivalent in Experimental Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline, PhD preferredStrong knowledge of GaN semiconductor physicsUnderstanding of mechanical, electrical and thermal failure modes in semiconductor products, and failure analysis techniquesKnowledge of international quality standards such as JEDEC, and AEC-Q101, reliability test to fail methods, and reliability test equipmentStrong data analysis skills (JMP, MATLAB, Minitab, etc.) with clear written and verbal communication skillsExperience working within GaN reliability in an industrial environment is highly advantageous,Knowledge of wafer fab processes and assembly preferredThis is your department and colleagues:Fueled by our goal to become one of the top players in the Power Discretes field with a large growth potential driven by the rapidly expanding markets, we are continuously expanding our talented and ambitious GaN team to grow into the next level.
