Do you have a passion for French and a talent for teaching? Our school in Reading is seeking a Long-Term French Teacher to join our team full-time for one year starting in September 2024. This is a unique opportunity to inspire and nurture the linguistic skills and cultural appreciation of our students.Your Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging French lessons that cater to all student abilities.
- Develop a curriculum that meets educational standards and fosters inquiry.
- Encourage students’ linguistic exploration through practical and theoretical lessons.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to school academic events and extracurricular activities.
What We Look For:
- Degree in French or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching French at the secondary school level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
