With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Job DescriptionThis role is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team and gain a solid foundation in the People Function and through strong service, positively impact the Arcadis experience for our employees.This role will report directly to the People Services Manager.This job is for 12 months contract term.Individual Accountabilities:As a member of the Local People Service team, the People Services Analyst will establish trusted relationships with other members of the People Team, employees, and line managers. This position will provide front-line support on people policies, initiatives, programs, or general inquiries. The role will work closely with other People Services team members, People Business Partners, the Employee Relations Manager/team, our Immigration Specialist, Payroll Team, Talent Acquisition, and the Country Head of People Services.In more detail, the People Services Analyst will:

  • Be a point of contact and subject matter expert in People-related inquiries for Arcadis employees
  • Work closely with the Global People Shared Service Centre to ensure the delivery of efficient and high-quality people services.
  • Own and support People Services tasks, which may include managing data, writing custom verification letters, maintaining compliance-related forms, processing employment changes, and processing invoices.
  • Run standards and custom reports from Oracle and perform light analytics work with data.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with job postings, offer letters, background check monitoring, and candidate communication.
  • Assist in providing a positive employee experience, including both onboarding and offboarding employees.
  • Work with Centers of Excellence including Capability (Learning and Development), Talent Acquisition, Global People Shared Services, Total Rewards, and local People Services to provide a wide range of People Services to stakeholders.
  • Support the process improvement of People policies and processes.
  • This position may proactively monitor leaves of absence and support employees and managers to facilitate return to work.
  • Share knowledge with the wider People Services team to build capability.
  • Support key People processes ensuring that they deliver to business needs.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.

General

  • Responsible for delivering proactive, timely, and high-quality People Services support
  • The People Services Analyst will work collaboratively within the People Operating model to support the wider business
  • Play a key role in the local People Services network and take an active role in group-wide People projects as needed.
  • Model our values and behaviors.
  • Act as a visible steward of health and safety and ensure familiarity and compliance with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.

Key Shared Accountabilities:

  • Establish trusted relationships with the People function team members, employees, and line managers.
  • Provide front-line advisory on People policies, initiatives and programs.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to co-create, develop and support people solutions.

QualificationsThe candidate should have an academic degree (preferably in human resources) and a minimum of two years of progressive (human resources) experience.Further, the candidate should have experience with a geographically disbursed business and familiarity working within a People Shared Services & Centers of Excellence model

  • Experience working in a high-volume, transactional environment
  • Ability to effectively multi-task prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to build solid working relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Capacity to understand how people issues impact the business and how People Services can create value for the organization
