In this role, you’ll partner with our Director of Transfer Pricing to navigate complex global transfer pricing challenges. From ensuring full compliance with local laws and OECD guidelines across all jurisdictions where Canada Goose operates, to crafting and implementing robust transfer pricing policies, your expertise will be critical. You’ll also play a pivotal role in producing comprehensive global documentation to support our operations worldwide.What You’ll Do::

  • Manage the implementation, maintenance and execution of transfer pricing methodologies.
  • Review analysis of functional and risk profiles.
  • Organize and conduct functional interviews with business units, and liaise with operational management, across all business lines, to provide transfer pricing advice with respect to various business opportunities and transactions as required.
  • Develop and maintain intercompany agreements in collaboration with Legal Team.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting on actual relative to forecasted results and provide variance analysis.
  • Work with key stakeholders in business units and corporate functions to update model assumptions (e.g., cost driver assumptions) on a timely basis
  • Manage the transfer pricing data quality, controls and governance and supporting.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely compliance with mandatory transfer pricing documentation.
  • Monitor current transfer pricing environment, issues and new legislation in relevant countries.
  • Partner with service providers that assist with transfer pricing as relates to the operating model.
  • Assist with Cross-Border Tax Advisory Projects, as needed.

QualificationsLet’s Talk About You:

  • An economist, MBA or accounting designation OR equivalent education/work experience in transfer pricing
  • A minimum of 4 years experience working in transfer pricing in a multinational tax environment/big 4 accounting firm
  • In depth knowledge of OECD transfer pricing requirements and regulations.
  • Experience with Office 360 or other systems for the implementation of transfer pricing policies
  • Ability to research and assist in preparing financial models of legal entities by function, risk and assets to recommend pricing methods that align with transfer pricing objectives and policies.
  • Understand and comprehend technical transfer pricing and international tax concepts with the ability to review benchmarking analyses, update annual local files and master file, and analyze intercompany transaction data, and clearly articulate (written and/or oral) such technical aspects to the Director on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with internal parties and external advisors in relation to large scale transfer pricing planning, documentation, and audit defense projects.
