With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Job DescriptionOur Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.Arcadis is currently seeking a BIM Coordinator with experience in the large Mixed-Use High-Rise, Institutional and Commercial developments who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment as a member of our CAD/BIM Coordinator/Management Team. This incumbent will be a positive, dynamic and proactive individual who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. As part of the CAD/BIM Coordinator Team, the successful candidate will help oversee all Revit projects within the BC offices while maintaining company standards, providing technical support, educating/mentoring project team members on the importance of adherence to company technical standards and best practices, and making sure each project is running efficiently. A key priority for the position is to deliver the support and guidance to affect an overall efficiency and productivity boost and better quality management for our Revit projects and teams.   • Provide project and office Revit troubleshooting and support to project teams
  • Troubleshoot workflow challenges and technical issues with project teams
  • Mentoring team members on BIM best practices and project requirements
  • Setup initial Revit model with site and context according to the company’s BIM standards and guidelines
  • Ability to author BIM Execution Plans that speak to standards and procedures
  • Maintain and enforce company-wide BIM office standards
  • Educate/Mentor staff on the importance of adherence to company-wide BIM office standards
  • BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project models such as managing, reviewing, and audit of existing ongoing Revit projects at regular intervals for compliance with office standards, level of development, and proper modeling/documentation practices and procedures
  • Collaborate with office Project Managers to anticipate upcoming modeling needs
  • Collaborate with the CAD/BIM Coordinator/Management Team to ensure the support and educational needs of staff and projects are being met
  • Creating parametric families for specific projects needs to capture the design intent and construction logic
  • Contribute to the development of new modeling and BIM-enabled design processes
  • Communicate with BIM team and clients at a strategic level about the concept of BIM and other design technologies, and how it benefits their projects
  • An ability to organize and lead BIM coordination meetings with the consultants, contractors, and clients
  • Participate in quality management initiatives to technically assess potential employees and to mentor probationary employees to ensure and awareness of company technical standards, and of the help resources and technical skills upgrade opportunities available
  • Where applicable contribute to the maintenance, troubleshooting/support and mentoring/education of staff regarding of company-wide CAD standards (AutoCAD)
  • Constantly learning to keep your own expertise at the leading edge through continuing professional development, experimentation, and research

QualificationsQualifications and Experience:

  • Must possess at least eight (8) years of relevant experience with Revit and BIM Concepts and at least five (5) years of architecture experience with construction documentation and detailing of large scale complex projects
  • Expert knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit and related BIM software and related Design Technology software and hardware
  • Solid understanding of legacy CAD applications and practices, particularly AutoCAD
  • Must be an articulate, passionate, and persuasive communicator able to convey BIM concepts to both staff and clients
  • Completion of a relevant diploma or degree program from an accredited college or university
  • Must be a respectful and collaborative individual for a team based work environment
  • Effective interpersonal skills

The salary range for this position is $95,000 – $109,000.
