We are particularly interested in applicants with educational leadership. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2025, or as soon as feasible thereafter.The School of Nursing at UBC is the oldest university-based nursing program in Canada, with a global reputation for excellence in research, innovative teaching, and values rooted in health equity, social justice, and community engagement. The successful candidates will teach courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the School of Nursing, and be highly engaged in curriculum development and pedagogical innovation through teaching theory and clinical courses in nursing. Applicants must either demonstrate or possess a clear potential and interest in achieving excellence in teaching and learning, in educational leadership, and in providing service to the University and the nursing profession. The successful candidate(s) are expected to work closely with other members of the School of Nursing faculty. Applicants must have earned at least a master’s degree in nursing, although a PhD in nursing is preferred, and must be registered or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner in the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.Applicants should submit a letter stating their career objectives and suitability for the position.
