Childcare Services is part of the Student and Campus Experience Directorate which is dedicated to enhancing, enriching and exceeding the student experience at Queen’s University. The post of Childcare Supervisor is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team ensuring effective operations of the University Childcare Facility having supervisory responsibility and accountability for a team of Childcare Assistants who are working to foster an environment which provides quality educational experiences to children to ensure all aspects of their developmental needs are met and to deliver exceptional standards of care.About the person:Our employees are key to the success of the service we provide our customers, and we are therefore looking to recruit a committed and motivated person who will support and deliver not only a world class experience to all customers, but thrive to providing a welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service.The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria;

  • Either academic and/or vocational qualifications, (e.g. GCSE’s A-C including English and QCF Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, Learning and Development or Playwork equivalent
  • Relevant post qualifying experience with children aged 6 months to 11 years (previous supervisory experience required).
