The main objective of this role is to help develop and gain greater insights into market and customer performance to drive growth at Open GI.Your key responsibilities

  • Provide actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions
  • Track, report, and analyse the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports
  • Analyse external and internal customer data
  • Evaluate customers’ online behaviour and provide insights and recommendations for further enhancements
  • Analyse A/B and Multi-variate tests, communicate results and provide recommendations
  • Create clear and compelling data visualizations
  • Advise the other marketing functions (e-commerce/website, online/offline advertising, brand, product development)
  • Lead the maintenance of customer contact data, working in partnership with the Sales teams
  • Work to set budgets and processes to ensure the most cost-effective spend of resources
  • Closely work with the wider team and business to support on campaigns and goals
  • Analyse competitor marketing activity

What you’ll need to succeedQualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above (essential)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or graduate degree (advantageous)

Experience

  • Typically, 2+ years of direct experience in marketing research, statistical or data analysis (or academic equivalent)
  • Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SQL)
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)

Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to use a variety of IT systems including Microsoft Office (essential) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (advantage)

  • Investigative / creative mind able to generate and contribute to new ideas
  • Able to communicate well with other departments within the organisation and externally
