ASICS EngineeringGeneral Summary:The Multimedia Camera team is looking for an experienced and talented design verification lead. The successful candidate will engage collaboratively with core HW design, verification, SW, systems, and planning teams to:

  • Lead and plan end-to-end verification of the best-in class camera HW
  • Define best-in-class Camera Verification strategies based on the system specification and usecase complexities
  • Deploy models, simulators, profilers, or even real hardware to provide quantitative justification for HW architectural directions
  • Apply computer architecture knowledge of CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, cache coherency, bus interconnect, MMU and memory/bandwidth analysis
  • Effectively communicate results, review with technical leads and peers and analyze outstanding issues

Must Have Skills:

  • Experience in system or chipset verification for SoC products, preferably in the mobile market
  • Experience in multimedia HW verification (imaging, video, display, audio, sensors etc) and ML/AI accelerators
  • Experience with OS principles and HW/SW interaction
  • Experience with SoC, bus interconnect, and memory technologies
  • First pass silicon success from concept to tapeout to production. Experience with unit level and full chip level verification environments
  • MS Degree Required with 12+ years industry experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Experience in VLSI design and verification methodologies
  • Experience in C/C++/SystemC/System Verilog programming
  • Experience in UVM/VMM/RVM methodologies
  • Pragmatic scripting & automation skills
  • Working knowledge of UNIX environment

Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.Preferred Qualifications

  • Image Processing Algorithm verification
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
