Now, during a period of growth, we are partnering with OMG looking to bring a Manager, Financial Reporting & Analysis to their talented team.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Manager, Financial Reporting & Analysis will oversee the financial and accounting operations of the firm, including developing policies, procedures, and systems to meet the financial and information needs of the firm’s stakeholders. The successful candidate will also work closely with other functions including the firm’s Operations, Investment, Compliance and Tax & Estate teams to analyze KPI’s, ratios and results.Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and/or reviewing annual, monthly and ad hoc financial, regulatory and operational reports
  • Overseeing accounting and banking activities, including periodic and day-to-day transactions such as AP, AR, payroll, etc.
  • Coordinating budgets and other planning requirements
  • Analyzing revenue and cost drivers, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Managing the activities and performance of the senior accountant on the team
  • Ownership of accounting policies, procedures, and systems while leading efforts to change initiatives and process improvements
  • Collaborating with other departments on various projects

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A professional accounting or finance designation
  • 3+years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Hands-on experience with accounting systems and banking is preferred
  • Experience in designing and implementing accounting processes, systems, and controls
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels in the organization
  • Curiosity and an action-oriented mindset
