Salary: Grade 7 (£38,205 – £45,585 per annum depending on experience)This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. The role will involve working with 4 faculties on their Athena Swan submissions. The Athena Swan Charter is a framework which is used to support and transform gender equality within higher education and research.The role involves leading on the development of a standardised approach to Athena Swan submissions, focusing primarily on supporting 4 faculties with the renewal of their submissions . You will be responsible for writing content, and for developing a central system to coordinate all Athena Swan actions plans to avoid duplication of effort across the faculties. Your role will include collaborating closely with the Athena Swan leads to coordinate and implement gender equality activity.You will contribute to the writing, development and evaluation of faculty Athena Swan submissions. This will involve collaborating with the relevant self assessment teams. You will jointly report into the EDI Data and Insights Manager and Equality and Inclusion Manager, in the Equality and Inclusion Unit.You will have a high level of data literacy and the ability to collate and analyse large sets of quantitative and qualitative data. You will have the ability to effectively engage with and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, from senior academics to students. You will have advanced writing skills, with the ability to produce a high standard of written English suitable for the academic environment.What we offer in return:
