We are offering an exciting opportunity in Stafford, TX for a Controller to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the accounting functions, manage accounts payable and receivable, and use accounting software systems to maintain financial stability. This role is pivotal in auditing, budget processes, month-end close, and the preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all general ledger activity

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process

• Supervise the preparation and detail review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports

• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes

• Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments

• Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions when necessary

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline processes and procedures

• Implement and monitor internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks

• Ensure compliance with all tax reporting requirements including income tax, franchise tax, and employment taxes

• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process

• Manage the due diligence and integration of acquisition targets.

Requirements • Must hold at least 7 years of relevant experience in a Controller role or similar position

• Must have proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Required to have in-depth knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge and experience in Auditing is necessary

• Must have experience in Budget Processes

• Ability to handle Month End Close procedures

• Must have experience in Financial Statement Preparation

• Due Diligence skills are required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Must have attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• CPA or relevant qualification is a plus

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
