Airport Economics Analyst

We’re on the look-out for an Airport Economic Data Analyst, to work under the guidance of and reporting to the Director of Economics & Competition.

KEY AREAS OF WORK

• Conducting financial analysis and benchmarking of European airports, managing data collection and quality control via an existing dashboard,
• Performing industry analysis of aviation networks,
• Maintaining of datasets and information on the air transport system,
• Developing and implementing research projects,
• Managing and designing surveys of airports

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES

• Interest in economic research and data analysis in the field of civil aviation;
• Prior experience via internships or entry-level work in data analysis;
• Practical experience with languages such as R very important; comfort using Microsoft Excel to conduct survey analysis; and useful to have an understanding of corporate accounting;
• Developed social and communication skills, and familiarity with working in a multilingual and multicultural environment;
• Ability to produce high-quality economic and statistical analyses;
• Ability to work under pressure and to deal with multiple assignments;
• Current work authorisation for Belgium;
• Fluent in English, other European languages an asset.
