Adjunct Faculty – Political Science and History

Position description

EMU’s History and Political Science program is seeking qualified applicants for both the fall and spring semesters of the 2024-2025 school year to teach in person the following undergraduate courses.

FALL: Comparative Politics; American Politics; U.S. Foreign Policy

SPRING: International Relations; Law, Justice, and the Local Context; Topics in Political Science; Medieval Europe; Topics in History

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants need to have at least 18 hours of graduate work in a related field of study to be eligible to teach each course. 

POSITION DETAILS: Faculty are contracted per course. Salary determined by education.

APPOINTMENT DATE: Fall and/or Spring Semesters. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
