Who are we?

The FRISC department (Finance, Supply Chain, and Risk) is one of the core support functions at the headquarters and consists of about 65 skilled and dedicated people responsible for DRC’s financial matters globally, in close collaboration with the operational departments.

You will be working in Central Accounting, reporting to the head of the department. The team consists of 8 competent and highly dedicated colleagues who take pride in delivering high-quality results in their daily tasks. We have a busy workday with a range of tasks, from financial tasks, accounts receivable and payable, reconciliations, VAT, liquidity management, and bank management.

 

The job

As a student assistant in Central Accounting, your tasks will be diverse, providing you with valuable experience in working within accounting and bookkeeping. Your primary tasks will include:

  • VAT controlling on financial transactions, both on expenses and income
  • Ad-hoc postings in collaboration with the CA team (bank fees, salary allocations, cost allocation, etc.)
  • Assisting the accounts payable team
  • Various balance account reconciliations
  • Assisting in providing information to our banks, including KYC
  • Ad-hoc tasks, including support for internal stakeholders

  • Good knowledge of Excel

  • Good language skills – both written and spoken (Danish and English)

We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 as our ERP system. Training will be provided.

  • Salary and employment conditions follow the agreement between the Danish Refugee Council and HK Denmark, as well as the associated protocol for students.
