We are in the process of recruiting a Finance Director for our team based in Everett, Washington, 98206, United States. The appointed individual will play a crucial role in the non-profit industry, with key responsibilities revolving around financial management, reporting, and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing all financial tasks to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
• Overseeing the financial operations and ensuring strict adherence to financial regulations.
• Preparing frequent financial reports to provide insight into the organization’s financial status.
• Ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies.
• Overseeing payroll functions and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and statements.
• Reconciling the general ledger, including fund accounts and restricted funds specific to non-profit activities.
• Managing accounts payable and receivables process.
• Collaborating with the internal CPA firm to prepare annual 990 tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Leading preparations for annual financial audits and single audits.
Required skills include:
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Mastery of Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Annual Budget, and Auditing.
• Understanding of Budget Processes, Financial Operation, Financial Oversight, and Compliance.
• Ability to Prepare Financial Statements and provide Financial Reporting.
• Experience with Payroll, General Ledger, Ledger Reconciliations, and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Familiarity with Tax – Form 990.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is essential
• Familiarity with all Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to prepare and manage the Annual Budget
• Proficiency in Auditing and Budget Processes
• Experience in managing Financial Operations and providing Financial Oversight
• Prior experience in ensuring Compliance within a non-profit setting
• Skill in preparing Financial Statements and providing Financial Reporting
• Experience in managing Payroll operations
• Familiarity with General Ledger and Ledger Reconciliations
• Knowledge of Tax – Form 990 preparation and filing for non-profit organizations.
