The Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the European Union in Brussels represents the interests of the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg in dealings with the EU and Brussels-based political, economic and cultural institutions.

It organises political, cultural, scientific and civil-society events for interested members of the public and promotes dialogue between EU, Member State and regional policy levels.

In this role, you will support the work of the Representation.

Your responsibilities

  • Actively participating in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of in-person, online and hybrid events, online meetings and video conferences;

  • Assisting the staff of the Representation in Brussels with basic hardware and software problems and helping with the management of other technical devices;
  • Standing in for the building technician and the caretaker in their absence.

We reserve the right to make changes to these responsibilities.

Your profile

  • You speak Dutch and/or French and have a very good knowledge of German or English;
  • You are service- and solution-oriented;
  • You are highly motivated and able to work under pressure;
  • You can work independently and are flexible in terms of how you manage your time (given that the position involves evening events and, very occasionally, working at weekends).
