Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries Fab 9 is seeking a new college graduate engineer to join
our Functional Electrical Test Characterization team. This role requires
an organized individual with strong communication skills. The individual
will have responsibilities to characterize signals from all sources
(wafer test, kerf test, and inline), define and drive yield improvement
projects while balancing the business objectives. The individual will be
responsible for working across multiple teams within and outside of
GlobalFoundries and have both direct and indirect communication with
customers.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring electrical performance tends, disposition of holds at
electrical test, support general/urgent fab operational issues,
analysis for material and change review board, abnormal product
investigations, yield analysis, improvement plans - Support process module engineering activities to improve cost,
cycle-time, and manufacturing robustness - Develop and improve yield characterization and data analysis
methodologies to rapidly determine yield limiters, correlation to
in-line defectivity, and electrical parametric signals
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support
all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and
programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education – Graduating with a Bachelors in n Electrical/Computer
Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program. - Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic
standing. - Language Fluency – English (Written & Verbal)
- Travel – Up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school
projects, competitions, etc. - Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute
on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Experience – 1+ years experience in semiconductor industry
- Customer facing experience is plus

Expected Salary Range
$52,500.00 – $107,000.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience
and location.
