The Hydrogen Council, the global CEO-led initiative comprising the world’s leading companies and investors in hydrogen, is recruiting for a highly motivated Executive Assistant to contribute to its mission.
As the Executive Assistant, you will work closely with the CEO of the Hydrogen Council as well as support the organization’s global team of 10 based out of Belgium, Canada, Germany, UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the CEO, with a dotted line to Hydrogen Council’s Head of Operations.
- Supporting the CEO: agenda management, scheduling of meetings, travel booking and logistics, email/correspondence, preparing documents, and supporting various other administrative tasks.
- Supporting the team: travel booking, scheduling of select meetings, various administrative tasks to support the Hydrogen Council Operations team (e.g. drafting minutes of meetings, preparing external presentations, supporting Council events).
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: at least 5 years of experience in similar roles, including in supporting senior executives.
- Education: a suitable education preparing you for the role.
- Excellent communication skills in English and at least one other language.
- Excellent command of MS Office. Eagerness to learn the ICT tools used by the Hydrogen Council.
- Strong planning, organizational skills as well as an eye for detail.
- Diplomacy, discretion, tact and ability to represent the Hydrogen Council and its leadership towards members as well as external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural, hybrid work environment and contributing to a highly collaborative team culture.
- Service mindset fit for a membership-based organization. Demonstrated ability to successfully operate in a global member-driven trade group setting is a strong plus.
- Flexibility: the Council is a global organization with member companies based across all major time zones in Americas, EMEA and APAC. Reasonable flexibility is required in accommodating meeting times and developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with members.
- Depending on the candidate’s location, this position may require some travel.

- Contract type: Employee
- Expected start date: as soon as available. Please indicate potential earliest start date and notice length (if applicable).
- Remuneration: competitive, based on experience
- Location: hybrid position, with a preference for candidates in or close to Central European (CET) time zone and with the ability to travel to Brussels and work with CEO and team in person at least a few days every month.
