Job Purpose:
We are looking for a (junior) HR Controller to support the HR Controlling and reporting activities. The successful candidate has strong analytical skills, is motivated to get things done, shows a hands-on approach, and is keen on working in an international team. The HR Controller takes ownership of monthly HR reportings, personnel and forecast planning as well as budgetary controls. The person will also be responsible for Budgeting, accruing, and reporting on HR Opex.
What will you do?
- Lead for the Sales Workforce planning across the European regions and entities (SAP Analytics in the cloud);
- Responsible for headcount and labour cost budgeting for the Headquarters and the other Belgian/Dutch entities (as well as regular variance analysis and forecasts);
- Strong links with MB members, Senior HR Directors, Finance business partners and payroll teams to be able to understand and explain variances;
- Working closely with finance to create accruals, forecast and rebilling employee costs to the right cost centers, reallocation to the right GL codes or to other entities;
- Consolidating and analyzing the monthly labour cost as well as the monthly HR Opex;
- Take ownership of monthly HR reports, analysis, and recommend action;
- Consolidating the Belgian Payroll Accounting;
- Continuous development of our HR management dashboard as well as our headcount planning tool (SAP Analytics in the cloud);
- Support on building scenarios for head count and labour cost;
- Optimization of HR and Controlling related processes.
Who are you?
Must haves:
- Completed university/college degree in Accounting, Finance/Controlling, Business Informatics or related discipline;
- Strong analytical skills paired with a systematic approach;
- Results driven individual who can work independently with excellent organizational skills;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills;
- Knowledge of SAP Finance applications (SAP analysis for Microsoft, SAP Cloud reporting, etc.);
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools such as Power BI;
- Entrepreneurial spirit and strong communication skills;
- Fluent English language skills.
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of Belgian payroll & benefits aspects and tax implications is a plus;
- Understanding of Belgian accounting as an asset (a course can be provided if desired).
