We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Operations Processor in Oakville, Ontario. This role involves working in the financial service industry where the selected candidate will be responsible for various operational tasks such as processing bank accounts reconciliation, conducting research, and supporting treasury management. Responsibilities: • Conduct moderately complex bank account reconciliations using a system of record. • Investigate and document discrepancies flagged by the system. • Assist in the resolution of open items through research. • Prepare and distribute reconciliation reports to various servicing groups. • Support the daily affiliate liquidity funding requirements and monitor bank accounts for variances. • Assist in the review and validation of transaction reports and all related processes. • Provide support for treasury management account opening and related investigations. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks, demonstrating a high level of proficiency. • Provide excellent customer service, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues. • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently, maintaining accurate customer records. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed. • Proven experience in operations processing or a related field • Demonstrated ability in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis • Proficient in conducting research and review of operational processes • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle queries and complaints efficiently • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients • Experience in payment processing is highly desirable • Knowledge of accounting functions, including journal entries and bank account reconciliations • Familiarity with treasury management and liquidity risk management • Ability to prepare and present reports on operational activities • Experience in providing workstation support to team members • Skills in variance analysis and the creation of validation plans • Understanding of SWIFT payment system is advantageous • Experience in conducting reconciliations and handling documentation • Ability to provide training to team members on operational processes • Must have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
