Reporting to the Head of Core Product this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of 7-8 product managers responsible for the end-to-end product management of Optus Enterprise’s Voice Unified Communications (UC)/Contact Centre (CC) Products including Unified Communications as a Service, Teleconferencing, Cloud Calling, Contact Centre as a Service and IVR. 

A key focus for this role is to define and execute a product strategy and roadmap that balances short, medium, and long-term perspectives. The strategy needs to have a holistic focus on how we make the most out of our Voice UC/CC assets to drive growth for the portfolio. 

This will include accountability to define our value proposition and points of differentiation based on customer value, develop lifecycle management and future development roadmaps and work across the business to execute and launch the solutions to market. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver against financial, customer and operational targets including ownership for performance reporting which will be presented to senior management. This will include managing the allocated CAPEX budget, manage strategic relationships to support growth, communicate key insights, drive associated actions that need to be taken to address any gaps and lead input into the annual operating plan.
  • Executing strategic initiatives on time and on budget
  • Integrated plans / roadmaps defining product strategy and tactical initiatives, aligned to market and technology trends
  • Sales across Voice UC/CC offerings, billed revenue, and the profitability of that revenue
  • Grow and maintain an effective partnering relationship between the OE Voice UC/CC product team and the Voice UC/CC Sales and Presales team.

Background Required: 

  • Understanding of the unique requirements for Enterprise customer use of Voice UC/CC solutions. 
  • A track record of building high performance teams with drive, energy, passion, resilience, and the hunger to succeed.
  • 10+ years of product leadership experience with P&L ownership in the telecommunications or technology industries (B2B focus). 
  • Proven track record delivering successful technology solutions to market including achievement of financial, customer and operational targets. 
  • Deep understanding of customer needs with the ability to translate these into business requirements and prioritise for development. 
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills with stakeholders at all levels. Able to craft compelling presentations that influence decision making towards a desired outcome.
