Description Robert Half is on the lookout for a committed Customer Service Representative for our client in the higher education sector based in San Diego, CA. We are seeking individuals with potent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing outstanding service to students and faculty members.

Key responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for students regarding course enrolment, tuition fees, and general student services. Accurately record and maintain student records in accordance with privacy regulations. Liaise between students, faculty members, and administrative staff. Assist students in navigating academic systems such as online portals for course material. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline customer service procedures. Handle student inquiries and complaints in a detail oriented and timely manner. Develop a deep understanding of university policies, course offerings, and financial options to provide accurate information. Requirements Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally within the higher education sector. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work well under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach. A minimum of a high school diploma is required; further education in a relevant field is a plus. Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the job, including working during peak times such as enrolment periods. Proven track record of working effectively both independently and within a team.
