QualificationsQualifications:

  • Valid and Current Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating; must currently meet the instrument recency requirements.
  • Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain an Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance (RAIC).
  • Must hold a current passport.
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • If Permanent Resident, must be able to obtain/maintain crew visa documentation required to operate aircraft within the USA.
  • Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standard.
  • Shall be licensed by Transport Canada to act as First Officers on 705 category aircraft.
  • You must be a student from one of the following institutions:
  • Air Richelieu (Program: Integrated ATPL/AEC-DEC)
  • Brampton Flight Centre (Program: Integrated ATPL)
  • British Columbia Institute of Technology – BCIT (Airline and Flight Operations Commercial Pilot – Fixed-Wing)
  • Cegep de Chicoutimi (Program: Pilotage d’aéronefs)
  • Conestoga College (Program: Aviation General Arts and Science)
  • Confederation College (Program: Aviation Flight Management)
  • Mount Royal University (Program: Aviation)
  • Okanagan College (Program: Commercial Aviation)
  • Sault College (Program: Aviation Technology – Flight)
  • Seneca College (Program: Aviation)
  • University of Waterloo (Program: Aviation)
  • Western University (Commercial Aviation Management)

Pilots selected to the Jazz APP program: For pilots to be hired directly from a Jazz APP institution, who were individually selected as part of the Jazz APP process. These pilots will be qualified to fly Jazz aircraft directly from an integrated ATPL program or by having a minimum 250 hours total flying time with a commercial license, multi-IFR with and successful completion of the IATRA exams.We strive to hire candidates with diverse abilities.
