We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. As a key player in the customer service industry, you will be tasked with handling customer queries, processing customer applications, and maintaining accurate customer records. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Handle high-volume customer inquiries and membership renewals in a timely and professional manner.

• Accurately and efficiently process customer applications.

• Maintain precise records of customer interactions and data entry of conversations.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Ensure adherence to strict attendance and punctuality expectations.

• Maintain a business casual dress code and adhere to workplace guidelines such as no cell phone use during working hours.

• Utilize MS Word and MS Excel for various tasks.

• Possess the ability to handle up to 150 calls per day during peak times.

• Uphold the company’s commitment to providing excellent customer service.

• Utilize basic office skills to complete daily tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements • Proven experience in a Customer Service role

• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel

• Basic Office Skills, including handling phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records

• Experience in a Call Center environment would be an asset

• Strong Data Entry skills, both alphanumeric and numeric

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm and professional

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Flexibility to work in different shifts or extended hours if required

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

• Knowledge of customer service software, databases, and CRM tools is a plus.
