This will help improve your analytical and social skills to better vision a future career development in the laboratory team!Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a formal co-op program in an accredited Bachelor of Science (majoring in chemistry), or other relevant undergraduate degree.
  • You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term.
  • Attach your transcripts with your application and clearly indicate the length of work term for which you are available.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and report analytical results in compliance with established quality assurance and quality control procedures.
  • Comply with the operating and maintenance safe work practices.
  • Follow procedures and comply with standards.
  • Support the department and internal customers by providing analytical, instrumental, and technical problem solving.

Location and other Key Details:

  • This is a 4, 8 or 12 month work term, starting in January 2025
  • You will be asked to indicate our availability in your application.
  • You will work out of our Fort Hills site in the Wood Buffalo, Alberta area.
  • Hours of work are 7-days-on/7-days-off on 12 hour shifts, FIFO (Fly in Fly Out) Operations
  • Fort Hills is camp based, requiring Fly-in-Fly-Out of Calgary or Edmonton
