Job description
CK Group are recruiting for a Research Scientist, to join a global pharmaceutical company, based in Slough on a contract basis initially for 12 months.Salary:Hourly: £20.03 PAYE or £27.27 via Umbrella.Research Scientist Role:
- Provide bioanalytical and biomarker assay support for non-clinical and clinical phases of drug development.
- Be involved in the development, optimisation and validation of ligand binding assays / immunoassays for biomarkers and gene therapy targets.
- Present your data at multi-disciplinary project team meetings.
- Transfer of methods to external partners may also be expected.
Your Background:
- Candidates should have a BSc, MSc or PhD in a biological discipline, or equivalent working experience.
- Proven experience running ligand binding assays/immunoassays (e.g. ELISA, MSD, ELLA, Gyros, Singulex, Simoa/Quanterix).
- Experience in a bioanalytical laboratory in a biotech or pharmaceutical drug discovery and development environment.
