Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Data Analyst to join our team with Business Intelligence and Analytics background. The successful candidate will be responsible for data digitization projects which involve in working close with the EXM Inventory Control Team. The project focuses on developing inventory business intelligence and data analytics projects over a 6-9 month period. Responsibilities include establishing rules in data prep for data conversion, contributing to visualization outputs used by ExM Senior Leadership for decision-making.

Required Skills / Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence and Analytics.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with systems such as Data Prep.

  • Six Sigma certification is desirable.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, self-motivation, and innovation.

Key Deliverables & Milestones:

  • Month 1-3:

  • Onboarding, training, and understanding the inventory database.

  • Familiarize with BMS behaviors and safety culture.

  • Onboarding to BMS systems.

  • Training and overview on ExM inventory and CMO profiles.

  • Month 4-6:

  • Develop rules, test execution, and prelaunch the program.

  • Develop Tableau Data Prep rules using the CMO/TPW Inventory report and convert to BMS Data using a pre-existing database. The goal is to automate the data prep.

  • Month 6-9:

  • Data Test, Launch and handover

Key Learnings for the Intern:

  • Understanding how data intelligence feeds into visualization to ease Senior Leadership decision-making and endorsement.

  • Managing large data sets, organizing, and profiling.

  • Attention to detail and impact.

  • Process simplification.

Qualifications:

  • Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, IT, Computing for Business, bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proficiency Excel, Tableau Prep and willing to explore new system.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
