Alongside our creative approach this will allow us to further develop the School, diversifying our provision at scale as we continue to widen access to our quality education, leading to rewarding careers in the health and social care sector.The RoleWe are looking for a motivated and effective individual to join us as Director of Quality and Student Experience for the School of Health and Care. The School delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post-graduate courses for professionals working in health and social care settings, alongside a large portfolio of CPD courses, with several bases throughout the UK, and numerous international partnerships.Sharing our passion for education and health and social care, you will play a key role in the creation and development of the quality, accreditation and student experience elements of the School of Health and Care’s business plan, ensuring it aligns with the wider Education Group Strategy and contributes positively to the Teaching Excellence and Student outcomes Framework (TEF).You will be key to ensuring outstanding student experience throughout the School’s transformation and through regular, on-going review of the school’s business plan, making performance improvements where necessary.A supportive and effective leader, you will ensure the School’s Senior Leadership team’s focus on delivering education that achieves agreed teaching and learning metrics and focuses on student experience.Our Successful CandidateThis role requires strategic thinking, external relationship building skills, leadership acumen, and a passion for delivering innovative and outstanding educational experiences. You will have a strong profile as an academic or practitioner, providing evidence of leading and implementing good practice alongside the ability to support and contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum, transnational education partnerships and international commercial projects. This will include identifying and implementing innovative and effective strategies to enhance student experience and satisfaction and the teaching, learning and assessment approaches.We have strong teams of talented professionals within the school dedicated to improving the lives of people and communities. We are committed to being responsive, supporting and educating the current and future health and care workforce in collaboration with providers, as Director of Quality and Student Experience you will be key in ensuring this is achieved through supportive leadership and collaborative approach.Experience of collaborating with relevant professional bodies and regulators and maintaining partnerships with external organisations in relation to teaching, learning and assessment, student satisfaction and experience and quality and accreditation are also required for this role.Qualifications Required:

  • A PhD plus experience in the relevant subject area or an equivalent level of professional experience alongside a postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject.
  • Recognised teaching qualification in Higher Education and/or recognition against the UK professional standards framework.
  • Extensive evidence of leadership within a Health and Care and education sector.
  • Hold professional registration.
