If you’re passionate about developing your career, while helping others along the way, come join the Broadridge team.The Analyst, Product Management in a leading financial service provider will report to a Manager, Product Management, and will be responsible for defining business requirements, developing test scenarios, and documenting procedures for technology solutions. The role involves collaborating with clients and development teams to ensure successful software implementation and ongoing usage, while also resolving issues, conducting training sessions, and providing guidance to other analysts.Key Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesInterview customer users to identify business problems and requirements of new softwareInterview other Broadridge employees (and possibly third parties such as CDS, TSX, vendors, etc.) to obtain further insight into business problemsAnalyze conflicting requirements from different users, prioritize them, and develop business-oriented software requirementsLiaise with the development team on the initiatives provided to you and lead the development priorities for your defined product areasDocument and present the results of the above processes in a form that is meaningful to customers and the development teamAs the solution owner, monitor the SDLC progress to ensure smooth implementation from start to finishResolve any oversights or ambiguities in the original specificationUnit test all new system changes initiated by the development teamReview the finished product with customers and confirm that all business requirements have been metMonitor production installation over time to ensure successful use of new software applications and featuresLead focus group and information sessions to ensure successful use of new applications and featuresPresent your products at internal information sessionsProvide problem solving for client reported issues with the applicationProvide guidance to other business analysts and product team membersParticipate/lead larger scale, more complex projectsBasic Skill Level RequirementsEducation:University degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent work experienceTraining in system integration life cycle methodologiesCFA designation or enrollment beneficialCSC or IFIC certification beneficialExperience:3+ years’ experience in the financial/brokerage industry,Skills/Tools:Analytical skills with financial/brokerage experience and specifically, the securities industry, problem identification including business impact, business processes and procedures, cost/benefit analysisTesting skills including creating business test cases and building test plansInterpersonal skills including building consensus, negotiation and facilitationStrong communication skills such as client interviewing, business writing, developing and delivering presentationsTraining skills: development and delivery of trainingDesign Skills, data modeling, process modeling, knowledge of wireframes and prototypingProficiency in MS Office suite of applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioProficiency in JIRA, Confluence, flowchart applicationsKnowledge of MS Access, SQL, and/or OpenEdge ABL (PROGRESS) would be beneficialRecruitment ProcessThroughout your application process, you may be asked to connect with us virtually or in-person.
