We are looking for a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our dynamic software engineering team.As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the architecture of our software solutions. You will work closely with our development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that our solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. Your expertise in various programming languages and technologies will be critical in driving the success of our projects.What you’ll do:
- Architectural Design: Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure software architectures that meet business requirements.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams across multiple projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices, performance, and security standards are met.
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance development processes and product quality.
- Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation, guidelines, and standards.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues that arise during the development lifecycle.
- Mentorship: Mentor and support junior developers and team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What you bring:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Programming Languages: GoLang, Ruby, PHP
- Frontend Technologies: React, NextJS, Javascript, Rails, Wordpress
- Backend Technologies: MySQL, PostgreSql, Cassandra, NodeJS
- Cloud and CDN: Extensive experience with AWS and Akamai for cloud services and content delivery.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and with cross-functional departments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certifications.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
- DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
