Cover Supervisor – Large Secondary School, ChichesterWe are looking for a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join a well-established secondary school in Chichester. This full-time, long-term role starts in October 2024, and is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with young people to step into a school setting. The position will run until July 2025.About the Role:
- Position : Cover Supervisor.
- Start Date : October 2024.
- Contract : Full-time, long-term role until July 2025.
- Pay : £110 per day.
- Responsibilities :
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure students remain on task.
- Provide support and guidance to students during lessons.
- Supervise students across various subjects and year groups, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
- At least 6 weeks’ experience working with children and young people in an educational, youth, or similar setting.
- A confident and adaptable approach to managing classroom environments.
- An up-to-date DBS on the Update Service.
- Current safeguarding training.
