Salary Details:The average gross income of a Psychiatrist in Alberta is $398,000 CAD (£222,000 GBP). Compensation is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends. Financial incentives such as reimbursable travel arrangements and relocation support may be available.Qualifications:Psychiatrists with a UK Certificate of Completion of Training are not required to rewrite any exams in order to be approved for accelerated licensure in Alberta, and can immediately start in independent practice.
